Despair Longing Desire
Despair, Longing, Desire
I long for your kisses
I desire your touch
I despair at the rejection that is so evident in your eyes
Why even try when one already knows the outcome
Why ask when one knows she will be turned down
And so I find myself here but, not here
My heart which you turned on like a faucet has run dry
I feel that old familiar tug - the call of solitude
The deadening exile calling me like a sirens song
Except Im no sailor
Just a girl
A sad and lonely girl
